Join the Melting Lights creative wave!

We’re teaming up with The Big Meet, the new platform supporting community building & accessibility of event hosting, to empower an outpouring of creativity, community and connection around London.

We’re calling all artists, designers, and makers to submit work for our upcoming Ocean-themed immersive event on 8th November in Dalston.

Your creations will become part of our AV and projection design, lighting up the dance floor and surrounding everyone in a world of visual storytelling.

This isn’t an exhibition, it’s a collaboration. Your work will be woven into our backdrop visuals and motion design; reinterpreted through the ML visual identity to create one collective, oceanic experience.

THE THEME

“Tell us what sustainability means to you for our oceans.”

We’re creating an ocean theme event of the deep sea and marine life, incorporating, as always, our passion for the climate. Tell us what sustainability means to you for our oceans. Is it the marine life? Is it the currents? Or, is there an abstract message, or personal story, you want to share?

From digital art and animation to photography, illustration, or physical materials, show us your take on the ocean, the environment, or the world we share and love.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

  • Deadline: 3rd November
  • Format: High-res final output (image, video, animation, or photograph)
  • How to submit: Send us a link to download your artwork (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.)

Any constraints: No strict rules… go wild!
